How we handle your business data

When you hire us to build your website, CRM or automations, we get access to your customer lists, messages and calendars. You should know exactly how we treat that, so here it is in plain language.

Who can access your account

Only Michele Margetts and team members assigned to your project. We don’t share logins between people, and when someone stops working on your account, we remove their access within one business day.

How logins are protected

Every login to the systems that hold your data requires a second verification code. We never ask you to email us passwords. If we need access to one of your tools, we’ll ask you to add us as a user so you can remove us anytime.

Where your data lives

Your records are stored on U.S.-based cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest (AES-256), and kept separate from other businesses’ data. A full list of our service providers is available on request.

Email and texting

Emails we send for you go out from a properly authenticated domain (SPF and DKIM), so they reach inboxes and are hard to spoof. Business texting is registered with the carriers as required.

AI assistants

Our AI phone and chat assistants tell people they’re talking to an AI, and callers hear that the call may be recorded. The AI tools our team uses have model training turned off, and the platform that runs our assistants states in its privacy policy that it does not use personal information to train public AI models. We never paste your customer data into free consumer AI tools.

When you leave

Your data belongs to you. If you end your work with us, we’ll help you export your contacts and records or move the account into your name, then remove our access.

If something goes wrong

If we learn your data may have been exposed, we’ll tell you within 72 hours, explain what happened, and tell you what we’re doing about it.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data or your customers’ data, and we only use it for the work you hired us to do.
